Kochański & Partners’ fourth UN Global Compact Communication on Progress report

The UN Global Compact CoP report is an annual summary of the activities and results achieved by organisations participating in the world’s largest responsible business initiative. It’s also a transparent way of demonstrating progress in human rights, cybersecurity, labour and education standards, environmental protection, procurement procedures, and anti-corruption.

Kochański & Partners emphasises that it currently regards the challenges arising from climate change as the most pressing. Over the past year, the firm:

  • Measured its carbon footprint
  • Assessed its climate-related risks
  • Developed an adaptation plan to better understand the impact of climate change on the organisation and its business environment

In parallel, the firm is advancing its ESG initiatives, monitoring energy consumption and fostering a culture of responsibility. It also pursues a broad range of community engagement activities, invests in the professional and personal development of its people, and creates tools to support team integration and collaboration.

Examples of such initiatives include:

  • The Kochański & Partners Women’s Club, supporting the development, mentoring and empowerment of women
  • The Next Generation Lawyers programme, developing the skills of future leaders
  • Green Fridays, promoting a plant-based diet
  • Sports tournaments that bring the team together and foster collegial bonds

These efforts represent Kochański & Partners’ deliberate and lasting response to a changing world. As Diana Tavera, Chair of the ESG Committee, puts it:

“The green transition is a process in which we are both an active participant and one of the key driving forces.”
