Hermes sp. z o.o, Poland’s leading logistics service provider, has leased 425 sqm of high-quality office space in Vastint’s K2 office building in Gdynia. The tenant was advised by Newmark Polska for the choice of location and during the lease negotiations. Hermes relocated to its new head office in December.

Founded in Gdynia in 1990, Hermes sp. z o.o. is one of Poland’s longest-operating logistics companies, with a history spanning 35 years. It provides a wide range of services, specializing in overseas and domestic transport of containers, curtain-sided transport solutions across Europe, and heavy and oversized cargo. The company also offers outstanding expertise in loading/unloading steel products handled by its stevedoring teams.

“To accommodate its growth and optimise costs, Hermes decided to move to Class A office space in K2 – a prestigious, energy-efficient and amenity-rich office building in a prime location. The tenant’s decision was influenced by its successful cooperation with Vastint and the relatively short timeframe for lease conclusion,” says Kaja Karbowska-Nowak, Associate, Newmark Polska.

K2 is a small-scale building located at ul. Kielecka 2 in Gdynia. It offers Class A office space with flexible arrangement options. Its design pays homage to Gdynia’s modernist architectural heritage. The office building has been LEED Platinum and WiredScore certified. It also boasts a well-connected location near a Fast Urban Railway station and a bus terminus, and ul. Śląska - one of Gdynia’s main streets.
