» CMS advises The Boeing Company on historic offset deal for Poland's acquisition of Apache helicopters
CMS has advised The Boeing Company on Poland's landmark offset agreement with the Ministry of National Defence. The offset agreement represents a significant step towards finalising the approximately USD 10bn Foreign Military Sales (FMS) by the United States Government to Poland of 96 AH-64E Apache helicopters, which will significantly enhance Poland's defence capabilities.
The offset agreement is a crucial component of Poland's defence strategy and demonstrates CMS’s breadth of expertise in handling complex, high-value military contracts requiring legal, business and industry knowledge. This expertise is anticipated to be highly valuable in the coming years, as the defence market expects a surge in interest for military contracts, especially in Central and Eastern Europe.
This project was led by partner Władek Rzycki (Head of the Aerospace and Defence Practice for CEE and Poland), supported by partner Rafał Morek and senior associates Stanisław Michałowski and Karol Jaworecki.
