Kochański & Partners has been shortlisted for The Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards 2025 in the category that shines the brightest this season: Energy Firm of the Year.

For its excellence, precision, innovation, commitment, perseverance and passion in projects carried out in Central and Eastern Europe.

This shortlist features the region’s leading law firms and lawyers in the region. The results of the first edition of this ranking will be announced in Warsaw in October.

The Infrastructure, Energy, Environment and ESG Practice Group is led by Partner Łukasz Młynarkiewicz, who also heads the Nuclear Energy Practice. Milena Kazanowska-Kędzierska supports him in this role.

Kochański & Partners has also been shortlisted for this year’s ITR EMEA Tax Awards. This prestigious list recognises the best tax firms and teams that have demonstrated outstanding achievements over the past year.

The firm has been nominated in two categories:

– Tax Litigation Law Firm of the Year (Poland)
– Transfer Pricing Law Firm of the Year (Poland)

As the ranking’s authors admit, the competition was extremely fierce. This is hardly surprising, given that they had to evaluate transactions, projects and the experience of tax teams not only from Europe, but also from the Middle East and Africa. The evaluation involved significant projects, innovative problem-solving methods, and determination and effectiveness in action.
